Actions Implemented under our Sustainability Plan

We are fully committed to ensuring our setting is as sustainable as it can be.

We have developed a monthly action plan to further develop our mission.

We are proud to have achieved the following;

  • Recycling system in place – bins and labels purchased.

  • Lighting sensors on all lights in the building

  • Wooden building eco friendly

  • Lights changed to LED

  • Teaching children to recycle, care for nature, science experiments, Forest schools, bird feeders

  • Implementing early childhood resources for STEM (NCFE)

  • Signed up to the National Education Nature Park Programme.

  • Sensor taps for children’s bathrooms

  • Travel plan (mode star) programme – using buses, encouraging walking to school.
