I Can not praise Murrow pre-school enough for everything they do for the children, they are a lovely work team, always smiling and generally care for the children not just a job. My daughter always comes out with a smile and I wouldn’t trust anyone else with my babies. My daughter will miss you all.

I really can’t thank Murrow Pre-School enough - it is just the most wonderful pre-school. The staff are fantastic - they are all so friendly, kind and caring, and they always go above and beyond ensuring the children are happy and having fun. There is always a huge variety of educational activities on offer and the trips you organise and the events you work so hard on such as the Christmas play are just so special. Mia always has a smile on her face when she knows she is going to pre-school, she has loved her time with you and I know she will miss you all.
You have been such an important part of both my children’s lives and I will be forever grateful for the care and support you gave them both. I certainly wouldn’t have wanted them to go anywhere else and wouldn’t hesitate in recommending Murrow Pre-School.

My son settled into Pre School very well from the start, and has loved every Minute, you can see a lot of thought and effort goes into all of the activities and events that are put on for the children and they have such a variety of wonderful thing's to offer.
My son has learnt so much during his time there and his confidence has really grown and he's made lots of lovely friendships with the adults and children.
We have had some personal struggles within our family and the staff at preschool have been so kind and understanding and given us lots of support and they have been very attentive to my son's emotional needs and pick up easily on things that may make him feel unsettled and help him to cope. The staff are so warm and easy to talk too. We are very grateful for everything they have done for us.
Murrow preschool is fantastic and I'm so sad it's our time to leave. Any child that attends this preschool is very lucky.
Murrow Pre School is an amazing start for your little ones to attend. Nothing is ever too much for all the staff that work here. They go above and beyond for each individual child. I would give this setting 10 stars if it allowed me to!
I have had two children attend Murrow preschool now and I couldn’t have wished for a better experience.
After contacting various pre-schools Murrow stood out to me by far.
The staff are warm and friendly, so caring and attentive to the children yet remain professional.
Communication has been great throughout and you are never rushed if in need of a chat regarding your child. Nothing is ever to much trouble.
My children absolutely loved attending, they have so much fun and always come out with all sorts of creations.
They have both developed great social skills and have learnt so much. All down to the amazing staff.
We will all miss everyone greatly, but are so thankful we have had such a wonderful experience. we cannot thank you enough for all you have done for both boys throughout their time with you. Hannah
Murrow preschool have been great they have supported us throughout the last few years and have gone above and beyond with helping us. They have supported our autistic child so much that they really are amazing. The staff they have all been great. We have had 2 one to one support, and they have helped with our child's growth and care. Wendy Lisa and Hailey especially have done more than we could have asked for. They helped us fight to get a place in a school that was needed for him. We couldn't have done it without their help. The Ofsted grade of "outstanding" should be higher !!

I couldn't ask for a better preschool all 3 of my kids have attended an I wouldn't have wanted them anywhere else. The staff are all so friendly, and amazing with the children. I am in no way a stranger to Murrow Preschool having 2 older children whom also attended the setting in previous years, I had no doubt I wanted Murrow Preschool to be the first choice again with my youngest 2. The Preschool excels each year, my children have always found transition easy with such great staff/teachers and are always excited and happy to attend. They have all excelled in their short time attending. As a parent I leave my children with ease knowing they are well cared for and will experience new things daily, with everyday being different to the previous with activities. The staff go above and beyond with supporting the needs of my children and are always on hand with meeting and working together on those needs too.

‘My son has attended the pre school for a year prior to going to primary school. As parents we felt at ease sending him here, as the communication regarding starting was fantastic. This was during a time that we was in the heart of the pandemic, but safely we were able to find out about the setting and transition from childminder to preschool smoothly. Our son loves coming to preschool, so much so he asked to increase his hours there to almost full time. At times when as a family there has been great change introducing a baby, the staff have been supportive of both our son and myself as mum and have made difficult times that but easier. The communication has been regular, open and honest, with time to reflect and work together to best meet his needs. The opportunity of learning through a vast variety of play resources has widened our sons knowledge and understanding of the world we are in greatly. We’ve seen positive change in so many aspects of his development and it’s been a joy to share this time with the staff. Being greeted at the start and end of the day by the same smiling, friendly staff has made mornings and afternoons brighter. We will be sad for this part of his learning life to end and I’m sure his ladies, as he calls them, will always have a special place in his memories. I look forward to when it’s our daughters time to attend.

“I’m so pleased that I chose Murrow Preschool for my son - it is an outstanding Early Years setting with a warm and happy atmosphere. The indoor and outdoor areas are bright and engaging, with a wealth of fun resources and activities to keep the children busy.
The staff at Murrow Preschool have been exceptional. They are calm, warm, caring and understanding and they always take the time to talk through any issues or worries. They go over and above to meet the needs of the individual child and support families.
Communication between the preschool and home is excellent. I was given regular updates during my son’s settling in period, and the staff always take the time to tell me all about the fun things he has been up to when I collect him at the end of the day.
The staff work hard to ensure that the older children are well prepared for school, and we have been given lots of support with the transition between preschool and Reception.
It has been lovely to see how my son has grown in confidence during his time at Murrow Preschool, I couldn’t be more grateful for everything they have done to support him this year - thank you. We will miss you all”

For a parent who’s worked in a nursery setting for over 10 years, I was amazed and instantly knew I couldn’t pick a better place for my son.
The interaction between all staff towards parents and children is something I will definitely miss when my son leaves.
Every single member of staff always puts the child’s best interest at heart and creates an environment in which is safe, secure and fun but also shows the importance of learning through their play suited to each individual child.

“Both my children have attended Murrow pre-school and it has been a positive experience right from the initial visit. Choosing a Pre-school for my children was something I wanted to get right. We visited a number of Pre-schools in the process. Initially looking for my daughter we visited Murrow after visiting two other pre-school, from the minute we walked through the door my daughter had chosen where she was going. We were made to feel welcome from the initial visit and it was the only setting we visited where she left my side.
Both my son and daughter have enjoyed their time at Murrow pre-school from the first day to the last.
Murrow Pre-school is excellent. I have experience of another Pre-school and there is a stark contrast. Murrow is without a doubt the best, it is no wonder Ofsted rate them as outstanding as they truly are. The communication is brilliant, they are interested in best outcomes for every child and totally child focused. Nothing is an issue that can’t be overcome and they go the extra mile every time. There is attention to detail, creativity and the variety of learning opportunities and friendly staff have supported first my daughter and now my son to achieve their potential.
We will miss all at Murrow pre-school as my children move on to their next chapter of education but it will be with fond memories and the enjoyment of lots of great learning opportunities that they’ve had.
If I had to choose again I would choose Murrow every time. Thank you!

”I just wanted to say the biggest heartfelt thank you from the first day of the girls coming along to baby groups to then joining the pre school, the team at Murrow pre school have made our family very welcome and their first learning journey was the best I could of hoped for.
I felt the apprehension of leaving the girls on their first day, but I knew they were in good hands, you guys are kind, caring and maternal I always felt you understood the needs of our girls individually, this eased my emotions, god knows there’s been many a time where I’ve struggled and you guys are the gurus of advice, support and strength.
Wendy you are truly the oracle of how to handle all emotions and I personally thank you for the advice and support you have given me since the girls have attended.
The people at Murrow pre school give and give, you have helped shape our girls into the little people they are today, they have truly thrived under your watch, interacting, social skills, confidence and learning things I didn’t even know they knew, opposites, rhyming, story telling and spelling out their names and they are long names what an achievement!
Murrow pre school is like a Mecca for children you have so many varied learning activities, free flow outdoor play, good communication channels with parents, the organisation in celebrating calendar activities such as Easter, Christmas, Mother’s Day, the jubilee you guys go the extra mile, the girls have enjoyed learning and crafting for these events, you make it fun and interactive, we’ve also enjoyed the fruits of your efforts.

“We moved to the area just over a year ago and we were blessed to find Murrow Preschool.
It is a very friendly, warm, welcoming setting that our son settled into right away.
The Team at Murrow have been fantastic with communication, they are easy to talk to and are eager to support whichever way possible.
So much work has been put into preparing the older children for primary school with mini school sessions, which has been amazing.

“I knew from the moment I first met the lovely staff and viewed the preschool that choosing Murrow preschool was the best decision.
Everyone is always so cheerful and welcoming on drop off and collection which makes those first few dreaded drop off’s much easier.

It has been the nicest experience for all our family and most importantly for maisie .
She started when she was nearly 3yrs old and when she walked down the pathway to the door she looked so tiny but I was put at ease by Wendy and the team from the moment I met them .
They have supported me with any issues I have had and maisie has blossomed in their care.
I would recommend the playgroup to anyone thinking of attending .

“My son has been at MPS for one year and within that year he has grown in confidence and developed so much. This is all down to the dedicated and wonderful staff. They provide such amazing learning opportunities and then guide and encourage the children but always keeping it fun. In fact it has been that much fun that my son would often ask to go to pre school on a weekend.
He has made some lovely little friendships there and the relationship he has with his key worker and other members of staff is adorable, the staff genuinely care and he’s really going to miss them.
I feel as a parent I have been kept well informed; of the daily activities, of my sons progress, what he’s currently working on and how we can help him with his learning at home. Also any changes or updates are always communicated in a timely fashion.
If there’s ever any issues or concerns the staff will discuss them with you and do everything they can to do what’s right to help your child.
MPS have been amazing in helping my son with his speech and language therapy.
During our time we have also been fortunate to go on two trips, both have been so well organised and truly enjoyable. Thank you.
MPS is an outstanding childcare setting and I would recommend this place to everyone.
I already have my youngest sons name registered to start there when he’s two.
We are both going to miss MPS and I can’t thank the staff enough for everything they have done, our pre school journey has been incredible and my son is now more than ready for his move to primary school. Our child initially begin with stay and play at Murrow pre-school to get a gentle feel and to introduce her into a warm and friendly very closely monitored school environment. From there on our child has moved on and attended Murrow pre-school for the past 2.5 years were the staff have been outstanding in all areas from ,one to one development, personal care and steady structured learning, with an amazing friendly reassuring approach, to give our child time apart from us as parents and introduced into the school environment comfortably. The staff have offered and given us in-depth advice and support also for our child’s attitude and behaviours at home away from the school environment. “Review of Frankies time spent at Murrow Pre school...
Frankie has well and truly enjoyed every last minute spent at Murrow Pre school. The ladies/ gents go above and beyond to make both your child and yourselves feel welcome and a part of a community. Even on Frankie's bad days - where he didn’t feel like leaving mummy they soon turned his tears into laughter and made sure he enjoyed his day (with frequent updates of how he is doing for myself, a over worrying mum) Frankie has come on leaps and bounds attending the Pre school and they have done an amazing job of teaching him the groundwork’s to now attend reception! I really couldn’t ask for a more loving, friendly, caring set of ladies and school environment for my son to attend to!
I count myself lucky Frankie has 3 younger siblings so already do and also will be attending the pre school because I know they will be looked after and nourished into the clever, happy young boys they are.

“I have 2 children who have been to Murrow preschool, and every experience with them has been great, my children loved this school. my son was very shy when he first started here but they helped him so much and he went to his primary school ready to make friends and he was so excited, my daughter Is starting primary in September and she is also very excited to go thanks to the preschools efforts. As working parents it was important for us to find somewhere where our children were going to feel loved, cared for and engaged with. “My two children have been to the Murrow pre school and have both got on exceptionally well. My daughter is due to leave shortly and I am extremely happy with there support in her learning and growing. The communication is excellent and atmosphere is always welcoming and cheery. The girls have always came home happy with their days at pre school.
My youngest will be starting next September and she is egg and peanut anaphylaxis and I’m in no concern or worried for this transition with the pre school. I already feel at ease for when she starts.

“The staff at Murrow preschool have always been so helpful and so supportive to my little boy. They have identified and support with speech and development delays to support him with the correct resources and time to help him to continue to flourish thought out his time there. “When Rikardo started preschool he was very shy, preschool has really helped him to open up and be more outgoing.

“Murrow Preschool is absolutely outstanding. My little girl settled in very quickly and made lots of friends. She was diagnosed with cerebral palsy while at the preschool, i found the staff to be absolutely fantastic with her helping and supporting her anyway they could. They also supported me in everyday i can imagine and couldn't thank them enough for all the help they gave. I would recommend them to anyone. So sad to be leaving.”

“Massive thank you to everyone at the preschool for everything they have done for Aria and giving me the support I needed, from when she told Donna that her sister had died (strange imaginary friend phase) 😂😂 to when you advised she needed to get rid of the dummy as it was affecting her speech.
They way everyone helped when she had her wobbly days and would cry when I was leaving, she was reassured from the moment she got in there and made me feel so comfortable leaving her with everyone there.
When Aria has been learning things at school I’ve always been given extra resources to carry that on at home and nothing is too much for you guys, if I ever asked for extra help you have always gone above and beyond to do that.
I am so thankful that Aria started her school journey with you, (shame that her second year was cut short) but she really did get the best start from going to Murrow Preschool.

“Olly has enjoyed every second at preschool. The staff are amazing and create so many fun activities for the children, Olly would often tell me when I picked him up that he wanted to stay for longer!
You can see the staff truly care about the children and I don’t think they could do anymore to improve the experience for the children and parents.
Olly has became a lot more confident since starting last September and has learnt so much.
I’m gutted that Olly won’t be returning however his little sister will be returning in September which we are all excited about.

You provide the children with a huge variety of fun, educational activities and the stay and play sessions are brilliant. It’s so lovely to be able to come into the setting to see Max play and take part in activities with him and to be able to view and have input into his yearbook regularly is really great. The yearbooks are very personal and a lovely keepsake that documents his pre-school journey.
I wouldn’t hesitate in recommending Murrow Pre-school and I certainly wouldn’t consider sending my little girl anywhere else when the time comes. Nothing has ever been too much trouble and you really go above and beyond to ensure the parent and child are both happy.

As soon as we looked around we could see what a lovely pre school it was and felt very happy with the thought of him attending. However, i was very nervous leaving him in an new environment with people he didn't know when it came to him starting. We had a few tearful days, which was horrible for both me and my son as he didn't want to leave me, and I didn't really want to leave him. The staff done an amazing job to make us both feel comfortable! They would distract him until he was settled and would allow me to stand the other end of the building or behind the door so that I could see he was settled before leaving. This was so reassuring as I couldn't walk away knowing he was upset and crying for me. Soon enough the tears stopped and he really enjoyed going. He would be so excited to go to preschool, and on his days off he would be wanting to go. The staff have all done such an amazing job with my son! He still loves going now and it will be sad for us both when he leaves next week! He has learned so much from murrow pre school! They create a year book that is available to view at any time, which has photos and descriptions of what the children have been doing. This is really lovely to look at and will be a treasured keep sake when my son leaves! When my son started, he had a milk allergy, and wendy was so helpful and they made sure that if he was having a hot dinner, they would consider his diet! I was really impressed with this as I just assumed he would have to take packed lunch. They have taken everything into consideration, always working along side the parents. The pre school always has lots of fun, educational activities out that are changed regularly, and the outside space is really good too! It's a lovely environment for the children, and I have always felt my son is safe there which is really important to me. I couldn't have wished for a better pre school for my son, and we will both be very sad when it comes to him leaving. To any parents looking into pre schools for their children, murrow pre school really is the best! “My Son Evan started at the Pre-school last September as a very shy, quiet little boy. I was so nervous for him as I really wasn't sure how he would cope being away from me. My concerns weren't needed as the Pre-school soon became Evans favourite place to be.
On his very first day Wendy called me after about an hour to let me know that he had settled well and I didn't need to worry. I will forever be grateful for that phone call as I felt that Evan was being cared for and his welfare was important to them.
All of the staff are very welcoming and approachable. Donna, Evan's key worker is always eager to fill me in on what they have been doing and how well he is progressing. Evan talks about Donna constantly at home which shows me how much he thinks of her. The whole team make an effort to get to know each child and their likes and dis-likes.
Evan's confidence has grown massively and the team can take full credit for that. They have nurtured and encouraged him the whole time he has been there. The environment is fun whilst still focused on learning.
I will be very sad to see Evan leave the Pre-school as they have become like a second family to him. I wish he was able to spend more time there but am confident they they will always be remembered as being a very important part of his journey. Thank-you!!

“My daughter has been attending Murrow pre school for the last 6 months and when she first started her concentration level was very poor. Wendy and the staff suggested concentrating on one area of learning at a time so we started with numbers and have progressed onto colours which she was really struggerling with. Since attending she can now count 1-11, can name her colours very easily and is now progressing onto shapes. Wendy came up with some great ideas for helping her with her colours such as finding a specific colour around the home putting them into a box and talking about them at school. Wendy and the team have been absolutely brilliant and my daughter loves going to school and we've never had a problem with her not wanting to stay, she absolutely loves it. “What can I say about Murrow pre school.... Both myself and my son will be very sad to be parting from Murrow Playschool. My son started when he was just 2 years old.. I was petrified that my baby was going somewhere he doesn't know or being with people he has never met before but the very first time I stepped through the door I was reassured, the setting was so child friendly and very modern lots of educational toys and freely played with. The staff were very friendly but most importantly the children were very relaxed and played well with each other and that meant loads to me. You have to trust your instincts and I was so happy for my baby to start this pre school and it was the best decision I could of made. My son has been there for 2 years now and even though we moved away out of the catchment area we still travelled there 3 times a week as I couldn't find a Playschool that was a patch on Murrow. My son has grown it a little boy and is so happy on the days he attends Playschool, he would attend everyday and never has a tear in his eyes.. His development has come on so well and considering he will still be only 3 when he leaves he has come on leaps and bounds. I liked the way the key workers used there favourite toys to teach them. Dinosaurs being my sons favourite toy. I would like to thank all the staff especially Wendy the Playschool manager who has supported myself and My son 100% and Jayne his key worker for teaching him in his early years. If anyone is looking for a preschool then this is the one to put your name down on..

“My daughter has been at murrow Pre School since october 2015 and she absolutely loves it.
All staff are happy to help, never had an issue, at first she was frightened to go, but after so many sessions she started to enjoy it.
She's now on her last few days at pre school before going to big school in september and shes very eager to get out of the door and get to nursery of a morning, just goes to show how much Wendy and the team have built her confidence up over the last 2 years, she's always been bright and forward for her age, but she had a majoir spurt when she started nursery, she wasnt very confident before starting, but over time Wendy and team gained her trust and now she is an eager beaver and has no confidence issues.
Can't thank the staff at pre school enough.
Not long ago we did move her to another setting, but she refused to go and when we had her settling un days she cried and asked to go back to Wendys nursery.
Highly recommend murrow Pre School and i'll be gutted for my daughter to leave!

I was nervous leaving Paige for the first time but immediately felt comfortable leaving Paige there and she settled in the second time She was dropped off without any fuss. The school is excellent, my daughter has come on fantastically with her letters and numbers and she is still only 3. The preschool has a fantastic atmosphere and you can talk to the staff about any concerns freely and openly. They have always encouraged my daughter and even helped me with potty training when she first started! I can't thank the school enough for everything they do, Jayne especially has a wonderful connection with my daughter and she talks about her all the time.
I am always kept up to date with Paige's progress and the little books they do are amazing, I love reading what Paige has been up to and the pictures they include.
I always feel happy and confident to leave Paige at Murrow preschool I can see why their offsted report was so good.”

“Ruby has been at the school for two years and has had some challenging times. The school has supported her at each stage and continues to develope her skills and understanding of the world. The staff have been very patient and friendly the whole time she has been at the school and I know ruby will miss them.
